Your Federation License is much more than a specialized insurance for underwater activities. A wide variety of sports to compete at national and international level. Discounts in diving shops, equipment rental, medical centers, hotels, leisure...
If you need a federation license/diving insurance, either because it is your first one, or because the one you had has already expired, we will manage it for you. You can consult with us without obligation, and contracting is very easy. You will only have to send us an email to

To activate international coverage, you only have to send the following information to info@fecdas.cat:

Travel notification period: up to 7 days before the start of the trip.
There is no need to notify travel to Portugal and France.
***ATTENTION! The contracted federation license will not be valid until you receive an email from the FECDAS administration team with the digital license, so it is important that you notify us with sufficient time.
IF YOU HAVE A COMPETITIVE SPIRIT
With your Federation License you can participate as a competitive athlete, coach, referee, commissioner, judge or jury in many competitive sports disciplines recognized by the World Confederation of Underwater Activities (CMAS).

INCLUSIVE DIVING:
The Catalan Federation of Underwater Activities carries out a wide variety of activities for people with functional diversity or at risk of social exclusion. The underwater environment is an environment where all people have to adapt, through skills and abilities different from those we need on the surface, therefore, it is an environment where we are all equal, discovering our own abilities on equal terms. An activity with many benefits:
- They promote and improve social relationships.
- They improve autonomy in mobility, offering an environment with new possibilities for movement and accessibility.
- They provide new sensory stimuli.
- They improve self-esteem and the ability to improve oneself and make an effort.
THE ENVIRONMENT, CONSERVATION AND EDUCATION:
FECDAS works actively to conserve, protect and safeguard underwater natural and cultural heritage. Its departments promote actions related to this field, such as: seabed clean-up campaigns, support in archaeological excavations, participation in scientific studies with renowned Catalan universities, documentation and cataloging of the underwater fauna of the Barcelona coastline and much more.
UNDERWATER IN EQUALITY:
They are actively working to increase the presence and importance of women in the context of underwater activities. They carry out baptisms and diving activities for women at risk of social exclusion. They offer training grants for female instructors. They are the driving force behind the "European Iceberg Project".
